I grew up
around the corner.
And I still find new reasons to love it every day.

Stories are what
make a place.
I’m Matteo Ferri, a Roman and a licensed guide since 2011. I started these walks because the Rome I love most isn’t behind a velvet rope. It’s in the everyday: the baker who remembers your order, the neighbor who knows every name on the street.
My groups stay small—eight at most—so we can talk, pause, and take the occasional detour. I’ll share the history, but the best part is feeling like you belong here for a little while.

More neighborhood.
I keep my groups to eight because Rome is best heard, not shouted. We’ll walk the streets I grew up on, stop where the bakers know my name, and take the long way when the light is good. Come curious — I’ll bring the stories.
